It was a strange sight this morning at the Junior School as many children came dressed as their favourite book characters to help celebrate World Book Day. Headteacher Sherlock Souter spent the morning searching for clues to help solve crimes against punctuation not being used in some classes!
Gangster Granny was a particular favourite this year, alongside characters from Harry Potter, Star Wars and Where's Wally. Well done to everybody that had fun dressing up and marking this day. At 11.15am the whole school stopped what they were doing and read for 15 minutes as well as swapping books and making bunting.
