Our Federation includes the Nursery the Infant School and the Junior School. We work collaboratively to ensure that all of our children are happy, develop a love of learning, make friends and have smooth transition from Nursery right through to Year 6.
The Early Years of Education are the foundation for children’s future development, providing a strong base for lifelong learning and learning abilities, including cognitive and social development.
We are committed to providing a high quality curriculum that enables children to acquire the skills represented in the EYFS Framework (2021) through meaningful learning opportunities. We have crafted the curriculum to include a balance of adult-directed and child-initiated activities, considering the intellectual challenge in all that the children experience.
We work hard to build positive and respectful relationships with the children, their families and their community – working in partnership to ensure all children are confident, happy, self-assured and successful.
Our dedicated and experienced team provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment for all children and their families. We are a fully inclusive Nursery and nurture each child at every stage of their learning journey.
Clare is the Nursery teacher and leader and has been teaching in the Nursery for ten years. She has a passion for the early years of education and is inspired by the Reggio Emilia way of learning and exploring. See the link below for some more information about Reggio Emilia.
Laura-Jane leads the creative learning in the Nursery and develops the children's imagination through projects and discovery. She believes that every child is an artist in their own unique way.
Kaley has a specialism in the early years of education and works part-time in the Nursery . She is pleased that both of her own children came to the Nursery. Kaley is particularly interested in learning through quality play and through the environment.
Janine is passionate about the early years and has a love of the outdoors. Both of her children attended the Nursery and she delights in working with young children.
Gemma supports the children over the lunchtime period, serving their delicious hot lunches and exploring with them when they have finished.
Lisa manages the extended schools provision and she is supported by a team of qualified play assistants who ensure that the children enjoy their time at breakfast and after school club.
Our Nursery sessions run in line with the school term. We offer morning and afternoon sessions as well as a full day.
We have wonderful extended hours provision which is located at the Junior School and managed by Lisa Sinclair. This is a welcoming and nurturing environment for the children in the Nursery, Infant and Junior School - please have a look at the photographs to see the great environment.

We open the gates at 8.50am in the morning and we encourage all children to arrive by 9.10am. At the end of the day, we open the gate at 2.55pm.
A full day is from 9.00am-3.00pm and children bring a packed lunch from home or you can purchase a school meal if you prefer for £2.
Your child may be entitled to a free school meal, please speak to the admin team about this. Please have a look at the attached menu to see what delicious food we have to offer!
All families can access their 15 hours Early Years entitlement and some families may be eligible for 30 hours of funding. Speak to our administrator for more information and advice.
We highly recommend that families access their full 15 hours of funding at Stoke Hill Nursery where possible as this gives the children time to really get to know the other children, staff and get really involved and engaged in what the Nursery has to offer.
