Vacancies at the Infant and Nursery School
 
2 x Catering Assistant Posts (permanent), 38 weeks a year, grade A, £9.50 per hour
Post 1 - 22.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 1.30pm
Post 2 - 12.25 hours a week, Mon, Wed, Thurs & Fri 11.30am-1.45pm, Tues 10.30 - 1.45pm
 
We are looking to appoint 2 x permanent Catering Assistants to start as soon as possible to join our catering team and assist our Kitchen Manager.  The role will include some food preparation, preparing desserts, service of food, setting up and cleaning down, to a high standard, whilst maintaining high levels of health and safety compliance.

You will need to be a good communicator and must therefore have an excellent understanding of both verbal and written English language.

Mealtime Assistant (permanent), 38 weeks a year, grade A, £9.50 per hour
6.25 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 11.45am - 1.00pm
 
We are looking to appoint a permanent Mealtime Assistant to start as soon as possible at our Infant and Nursery School.  You would be working as part of the lunchtime team to help supervise, care for and manage the children in the playground and dining hall, and support them in their play. 
 
You should be able to build a strong, appropriate rapport with children and demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team.  We are looking for a caring person who is able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children's safety and following the school's behaviour guidelines.  You should be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies.
 
Duties will include supervising lunchtime and supporting interactions and including as well as setting up the hall, closing down and cleaning.  The working hours are 11.45 am - 1.00pm Monday - Friday.
