Welcome to the Nursery

Welcome to the Nursery

Stoke Hill Nursery is part of Stoke Hill Infant and Nursery School, based in a beautiful wooden building next to the Infant School and surrounded by a natural woodlands outdoor space. It is a creative and inspirational teacher led Nursery, offering a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment to play and explore.

Our dedicated and experienced team provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment for all children and their families.  We are a fully inclusive Nursery and nurture each child at every stage of their learning journey.

‘My son has had such a positive start to his early education at Stoke Hill. He loves going to Nursery and has an amazing time playing and learning. He is encouraged to be independent and his interests and ideas are really valued by the nurturing team of staff. The Nursery environment inside and out is amazing and there are always lots of different things to do.’

Our Nursery sessions run in line with the school term. We offer morning and afternoon sessions as well as a full day.

A morning session is from 8.45am-12.00pm and an afternoon session is from 12.30pm - 3.00pm. A full day is from 8.45am-3.00pm and children bring a packed lunch from home.

All families can access their 15 hours Early Years entitlement and some families may be eligible for 30 hours of funding. Speak to our administrator for more information and advice.

Read this lovely poem by Pamela Houk for a sense of  our Nursery.

‘Children in the Nursery are looked after extremely well and their behaviour is outstanding’.
