Mini Worlds in Year 2.

As part of our Autumn Term project 'Circle of Life' Yr2 have started discovering and learning about the different habitats that can be found around the World. The new Science Curriculum expects the children to explore and compare different plants and animals; looking at their habitats, food chains and how they depend on each other.
We hope everyone at home enjoyed this home learning challenge.
To make this area of science even more creative and 'real' our children, with the help of their families, have designed and made mini habitats of their own. These range from micro habitats such as ponds and trees to the large scale habitats; polar, african savannah.
