Please now move onto a new sequence of lessons based around the story: How Coyote Brought Fire to the Earth. These initial sessions lead onto the objective: how to use expanded noun phrases to describe.

Our current project is 'Being me in my world'. The objectives and links to lessons and resources for our project are below.
- Find out about and describe the basic needs of animals for survival.
- Notice that animals, including humans have off spring which grow into adults.
- Devise a simple map.
- Use and construct basic symbols.
WALT draw a map with a key.
TASK draw a map of how you get from your home to a place you know.
Have a look at the National Geographic game first and think about how you can use symbols to show places and landmarks on your map. Try and include a key to explain your symbols on your map.
