Nursery Remote Learning Summer Term 2022

Hello from the Nursery team

We know that most of you are in the Nursery but if for some reason you are learning at home ~ try your best and we look forward to seeing you very soon.

Summer Term 2022

Our project this term is designing and creating magical creatures with amazing skills and powers! You can see some of these amazing creatures on display at Exeter Phoenix - see below for more information.

Please find some remote learning on this page if you are at home at the moment.

The daily timetable may be useful for you to plan your day.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

From Clare, Laura-Jane, Kaley, Janine and Gemma

Come and see our Exhibition at Exeter Phoenix

We are so delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit the children's project work at Exeter Phoenix, a vibrant, world-class multi-artform venue in the heart of Exeter's city centre.

Please do come and have a look ~ pop a comment in the exhibition book if you have time and maybe have a drink and slice of delicious cake too.

Supporting Exeter Phoenix will allow them to continue to provide free access to their galleries, a selection of free workshops and activity for young people, artist development and support, and access to the arts for all.

We will be finding out about different creatures and also drawing them.

Have a go at your own drawing - watch the clip first from the Tate Museum to inspire you.

Communication and Language

Each day in the Nursery we sing rhymes together, clap the syllables in our name (Peter has two claps for example and Clare only has one), and listen to the sounds we can hear in words.

Watch the video and play some of the games such as 'I spy' and then sing your favourite rhymes together.

Have fun!
