Welcome to Stoke Hill Federation
The Stoke Hill Federation is made up of Stoke Hill Infant and Nursery School and Stoke Hill Junior School. Both schools retain their own headteacher but share a governing body. We are a diverse federation, looking after and educating children and families from all around the world. The schools work closely together to achieve the best outcomes for all the children and families that are part of our community and our partnership with parents is of the utmost importance to us.
Both schools have beautiful grounds, with well-established outdoor teaching areas, woodland and large playing fields. As much learning as possible happens outdoors, and the children are taught to love, care for and appreciate their environment and the world around them.
We teach the children to respect people’s different beliefs, faiths and persuasions, and to take an active part in the life of the community. We help them to develop clear values and principles and to live by them. We want them to live without fear and insecurity, and to be happy.
Both schools have a tradition of high standards in the basic skills alongside a broad curriculum that allows us to celebrate success in all areas of learning. The children behave beautifully towards each other, and have excellent attitudes to their own learning.
At the Stoke Hill Federation, children are encouraged to respond to learning experiences with enjoyment, purpose and vitality. We are constantly developing and enriching our curriculum to suit an ever-changing world and the needs of our children.
This website can only provide a snapshot of what life is like at the Stoke Hill schools and is no substitute for a visit. We warmly encourage visits to both schools and appointments can be made through the school offices.
